The Metal Children by Adam Rapp
Directed by Kevin Holden and Jacey Little

October 2014 Regional Premiere @ San Jacinto College South

A San Jacinto College South production featuring Horse Head artists Kevin Holden, Jacey Little & Leah Short; and Horse Head Collaborators HR Bradford, MJ Emig, Yezminne Zepeda, and Luke Fedell.

The Metal Children was a pilot project for a Horse Head mentorship program where HH artists bring their talents and experience to an educational institution and work alongside students and faculty. The Horse Head mentorship program allows the educational institution and students to retain full artistic ownership of the production, while learning first-hand from working Houston theatre professionals. Instead of shadowing as an assistant or working in an internship-like environment, students collaborate with HH artists step by step, side by side, participating in a true production-process experience.
